It's Pony Pride Day Tomorrow ! Students and Staff will be wearing UGES Spirit Wear (or school colors) in support of the Girls Cheer and A/B Basketball Teams who play their final regular season HOME game against Bristol in the UGES Large Gym on Thursday, Nov. 30th. B-Team game starts at 4 p.m. followed by the A-Team game. Let's get a big crowd together and cheer our PONIES onto another victory!

REMINDER - 8th Grade Scheduling Meeting TONIGHT: UGHS 8th grade scheduling meeting is tonight, Monday, November 27th at 6:00 p.m. in the high school large gym. This meeting will provide you with information about your child's upcoming freshman year and you will receive a folder with your child's registration paperwork. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

Perfect ending to a great day! Thank you UGES families! THREE carloads of food was collected for the Union Grove food pantry. Our student council did a great job of organizing, collecting and delivering. We have so much to be thankful for!




Have a GREAT Thanksgiving Break UGES Students & Families - There will be NO SCHOOL from Wednesday, November 22 through November 26th. School will resume on Monday, November 27. We'll see you then!

Our 7th/8th graders went on their incentive trip to Guttormsen Recreation Center today in Kenosha. Looks like they were having fun bowling, eating snacks, and just hanging out.

More GREAT things happening here at UGES! Our Principal, Mr. Hansen, joined Ms. Kieffer's Kindergarten class to read and dance with them today!




On Monday, November 20, Community State Bank visited to teach UGES 8th graders about money management with their program entitled, "My Life Essentials." They completed this activity in Civics class as a part of their career unit. A big "thank you" goes out to Community State Bank for joining us for this special program!









The energy in the large gym was amazing this morning for the all-school assembly! The students loved it! Thanks for being such a great sport Mr. Sams!










Haircut day for Mr. Sams! Check out these before and after photos! The Food Drive Challenge was a huge success with over TWO CAR LOADS of non-perishable food items that have been donated to the Union Grove Area Food Bank and the Ground Zero Food Pantry in Union Grove for Veterans. Thank you UGES and Student Council for supporting this amazing event!

PTO Pie Pickup is TOMORROW, Tuesday, November 21, between 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Pie pickup will be in the K-4 Cafeteria (Please enter through the Main Entrance). Tomorrow morning at 7:50 a.m. Mr. Sams, our Assistant Principal, will have a new look. Will it be three students from 4K-4th or 5th-8th grades who will be shaving his head at the all school assembly? There is still time to bring in food to the bins located by the main office for the Student Council Food Drive Challenge. The competition ends at 3:00 p.m. today. All food donated will be gathered by our fantastic student council members and it will be taken to the Union Grove Area Food Bank!

Student Council Food Drive Challenge ends this coming Monday, November 20! 5th-8th grades continue to have a full 2 barrel lead of non-perishable food items, BUT THERE IS STILL TIME! Can 4k-4th grades gather up enough non-perishable food items over the weekend and place them in the barrels by the front office by 3:00 p.m. on Monday? If they do, three students will be selected to shave Mr. Sam's head at the all school assembly on Tuesday, November 21. Or will it be three 5th-8th grade students who will have the honors?
