The boys basketball games that were canceled for this evening have been rescheduled for tomorrow, January 24 at Wheatland. B-Team game starts at 4 p.m., followed by the A-Team game. There will be three C-Team games: 3:45, 4:30 and 5:15 p.m. Good luck Ponies!
"Pony Pride Ticket Challenge" update for Tuesday, January 23. Still holding a commanding lead is Mr. Penzel (Specials Teacher) with 361 votes. In second place is Ms. Tenhagen (4th grade) with 183 votes, and currently in third place is Mr. Cleven (6th grade) with 158. Ms. Passe (1st grade) is still in the race with 132 votes. Only 900 more tickets need to be turned in by next Wednesday and Mr. Sams will be slimed!
Pony Pride Ticket Challenge Update...We have met our goal of 1,000 Pony Pride Tickets being turned in as of today, and there is still more than a week to go. Our students are doing a lot of great things. We have added another incentive to the challenge. If we get to 2,000 tickets by the January 31st, Mr. Sams will get slimed!

"Pony Pride Ticket Challenge" update for Friday, January 19. The top three staff who are in the running to get "slimed" has changed a bit since yesterday. Our students have been placing a lot of tickets in the buckets, so here are the current standings: Still leading the way is Mr. Penzel (Specials Teacher) with 212 votes, Ms. Tenhagen (4th grade) took over second place with 123 votes, and Mr. Cleven (6th grade) is right behind with 120. Let's not count out Ms. Passe (1st grade) with 112 votes.

UGES Activity Night Update...The 2nd activity night of the year is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, January 19 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. (For UGES Students: Grades 5-8) All students should enter through door # 21 in the back of the school by the 5-8 cafeteria. Parents/guardians/students please take note of the following activity night guidelines…Union Grove Elementary School Student Handbook Rules apply, no students will be admitted to activity night without a completed permission slip already on file, students must be in school the day of activity night to be eligible to attend, students are expected to stay for the entire two hours, 4:30-6:30 p.m, food (pizza - $2.00, soda/water - $1.00, candy - $1.00) will be available for purchase. A special reminder for 8th grade parents/guardians: This Friday, January 19 is the last day to submit graduation gown orders. Please return the form and $20.00 payment to the main office. If your student does not need a gown, because they have one available to use, please indicate this on the order form. Graduation gown order forms can be obtained by visiting the Daily Express Link (under the 5-8th grade section) on the UGES website.
