On December 6th we will be holding our 8th grade mock interviews!
Interviews will begin at 8:00 am and go until all 8th graders have completed. This is a great experience that we offer as a part of our career unit for both our students and the volunteers. If you are interested in volunteering please contact:

It's National STEM Day!
In STEM 8th graders use engineering on a daily basis. Today when exploring the Engineering career pathway students watched the movie Dream Big; Engineering Our World. The purpose behind this film is to expose students to the incredible work engineers do to create better lives for people in the world. 🧰


Kindergarten students are learning all about plants and pollination! Today, students in Mrs. Klenke and Mrs. Cooper’s simulated pollination with bees made from clothespins/pipe cleaners and Mac n Cheese powder. The kids had a blast and the hands on learning was a great way to show them exactly how pollination works and how important bees are to plants/flowers/fruit! 🐝🦋











4th Grade got the most out of their trip to Discovery World! 👩🔬💡🔭🔬










Today 8th graders explored the career pathway of Information Technology. Students combined their creativity with their computer skills to add their own personal touch to their photos.

2nd Grade finished their Bedtime Stories unit and celebrated with a pajama party and pancake personification!











Today 8th graders learned about the career pathway of Health Sciences. They had a guest speaker, NICU nurse Kelsey who taught them about vital signs and the tools used to measure them.









8th graders kicked off their Career and High School Transition lessons by learning about the Career Pathways at UGHS.
This week they learned about careers in Agriculture and for their hands on activity, they made butter.





The kids at UGES had fun taking part in the democratic practice yesterday!
