Following a presentation by Racine County Conservation Planner Kailyn Palomares, students in 8th grade science classes participated in the 2025 Racine County Land and Water Conservation Poster Contest. This year’s theme was 🏡 “Home is Where the Habitat Is”. Emma earned the 2nd Place Award and Autumn earned the 3rd Place Award. Amazing creativity!

On Friday UGES 8th graders got to experience what an interview is like. Mock interviews are a part of the career curriculum where volunteers from the surrounding community interview the students. Students research a chosen career in preparation for the interviews. Thank you to all the amazing volunteers, we couldn’t do this without you. Great job 8th graders you really made us proud with all of the hard work you put into this!

Union Grove Elementary School is looking for a boy's cheerleading coach! This is a paid position. The season runs 12/10-2/10 (start date can be delayed if needed). We are looking for someone who is experienced with middle school students and cheerleading/dance. There are two teams, an A (more skilled) and B (beginners) team. Games start at 4:00 and 5:00 (roughly). The games are split away and home with a total of 10-13 games. Most games are on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
