
Student Council Holiday Door Decorating Results for 5th-8th Grades...Last week Mrs. Ninneman's (Kindergarten) and Mrs. Effinger's (1st grade) classes won the 4K-4th grade holiday door decorating contest. This week student council judged the 5th -8th grade doors. CONGRATULATIONS to Mrs. Chizek's (6th grade) and Mrs. Reinhold's (7th grade) classes for being chosen as the winning homerooms. All four classrooms will be treated to a hot chocolate/popcorn party by Student Council. Thank you to all of our students who helped decorate doors and made all of the hallways look festive at UGES these past few weeks!



Room 105 (Mrs. Storm-Voltz) and "1st Grade Buddies" visited the gingerbread house displays in the library which were made by our AWESOME 4th graders!

UGES is on a roll celebrating "Holiday Spirit Week." Tomorrow, Wednesday, December 20 is "Whiteout Wednesday." Students and staff will be wearing a lot of white clothing. We have to make up for the lack of SNOW so far this winter!

Boys Basketball Game Tonight! Join us for the first boys basketball HOME GAME of the season vs. Randall. B-Team game starts at 4:00 p.m. (Large Gym).
A-Team follows the B-Game (Large Gym). C-Team game begins at 4:00 p.m. (Small Gym). Grab some snacks at the concession stand from our student council members and cheer our PONIES ONTO ANOTHER VICTORY!

This past weekend the boys basketball teams participated in the Riverview Comet Classic. A BIG CONGRATULATIONS to both the A & B Teams on their Championship Tournament Wins! Great job boys!

UGES Spring Musical Update...Disney's Aladdin Jr...FINAL CREW CALL for UGES 5th-8th Grade Students. Be a part of the amazing behind-the-scenes crew. It's going to be a spectacular show! Deadline to sign up for the Stage Crew is Tuesday, December 19. To sign up, all interested Stage Crew Members should fill out the “Crew Form” located outside the front office and return it by the deadline.

Good luck to our boys A & B basketball teams this weekend as they participate in their first basketball tournament of the season at Riverview Elementary School on Friday, December 15 and Saturday, December 16. GO PONIES!
