The UGES Girls Basketball Season Starts Soon! The 1st day of girls basketball tryouts is on Monday, October 9 from 3-5 p.m. in the large gym. Cheerleading tryout practice starts on Friday, October 6 from 3-4:30 p.m. in the K-4 Cafeteria. Good Luck and GO PONIES!

Have you heard the news? UGES is bringing back musicals! We are holding auditions for Aladdin Jr. for current 5th-8th UGES grade students. Auditions will take place on December 18th and 19th and our production is slated for April 19th and 20th. There is a link posted to our school website and Facebook page, as well as a QR code to scan on posters around the school to sign up for an audition! Boys/Girls Cross Country Practice is Canceled for Tonight.

Reminder - No School Tomorrow (Friday, Sept. 29) due to a scheduled staff development day. We will see you all when school resumes on Monday, October 2.

Family Skate Night is Tomorrow at TraXside in Burlington from 5:30-8:00 p.m. Visit the flyer in the Virtual Backpack for details. A portion of each admission will be donated back to our school. Please bring the TraXside Flyer which was sent home with each student so that UGES receives credit.

Art Club Sign-up (for grades 6-8) Ends Tomorrow! Return completed form to Ms. Moore and $10 supply fee. Art Club permission forms are available in the Virtual Backpack on the UGES Website.

Today, September 27, is Bullying Awareness Day. Bullying may negatively impact a student’s connection with school, their engagement with the curriculum, and their overall ability to learn. Bullying prevention is critical to building a school environment conducive to learning and where students feel safe at all times.

Softball at UGES Tonight - Only A Team Boys and Girls games will be held tonight beginning at 4:00 p.m. (possibly earlier) on Pete Maurice Field (Bronco Select Field). Boys Team will play first. There are no B Team games this evening. Picture night is still on for this evening for all A Team & B Team softball players as well as all cross country athletes. All B Team softball players and cross country athletes can be picked up in the front of the school at 4:00 p.m.
