Students in 3rd and 4th grade participated in a community engagement project. The project invited collaboration of high, middle, and elementary school students to create handmade ornaments to decorate trees at local community businesses. Materials were donated by UGHS. High school students in tech ed classes cut the ornament shapes. Elementary school students painted the ornaments and hung them on the trees around town. The goal of our project is to bring the community together through creativity and to celebrate the season with festive spirit. Thank you to our community partners for making it a great success!
