Face Coverings in School

As we navigate COVID-19 this school year, we are in constant contact with the Central Racine County Health Department and we will continue to follow recommendations from the CRCHD to mitigate risk for students and staff.

At our board meeting on September 21, 2020 the school board unanimously approved requiring face coverings until further notice.  The school district's policy supersedes Wisconsin's statewide face covering order (set to expire on September 28).  The district sees wearing face coverings as contributing to slowing any spread in schools and is a practice to continue.  We'd like to also remind you that the mask requirement extends to the bus as well.

We recognize that with each passing week it becomes easy to become more and more relaxed with the wearing of face coverings and other risk mitigation requirements.  Please note, however, that for us to be able to keep going with in-person learning, we need to stay healthy.

Thank you for your support and understanding during this very difficult time.
