Welcome to the 2017-2018 School year.  I am very excited to get to know the students that are coming in to 7th grade as well as continuing to work with the students in 8th grade.  Check here for updates.

About Me

This will be my 20th year teaching special education at Union Grove Elementary School.  I got my undergrad degree at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and my teaching degree at Texas A&M.  I taught in Texas for 2 years before coming to Union Grove and I have been here ever since.  I have also coached the boys basketball team for the last 11 years.

Outside of school I love to watch my 2 favorite teams, the Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers.  I have a beautiful wife Victoria and 2 children.  Chase is my 8 year old son who just started3rd grade.  Brecklyn is my 4 year old daughter who in her last year of pre-school.  This summer, our family took a trip to the east coast where we fought the waves at Ocean City New Jersey, rode the rides at Sesame Place, walked the streets of Philadelphia, and tasted the chocolate of Hershey, Pennsylvania.

I am very excited to work with all of the students this year.  One of my main objectives as a case maanger at the 7th/8th grade is to help the students get more independent and help them to become advocates for themselves.  I believe this will help them as they move on to High School and beyond.
