Mrs. Kieffer's Korner

  • Welcome kindergarten families!

My name is Janette Kieffer, and I am so excited to be your child’s kindergarten teacher this year. I graduated from the University of Whitewater in May of 2003 with a degree in elementary education and early childhood education. I completed my masters in 2008 through the University of La Crosse.

I have three boys at home. They keep me very busy when I am not teaching.  I love being a mom and a teacher! I have had such a great time for years learning right along with my students. I am sure this year’s class will teach me even more!

Kindergarten is a time of new beginnings, of making new friends, and learning lots of new things each and every day.  Our days and weeks will be filled with many wonderful experiences for learning and growing. I am so looking forward to working with your child this year and filling each day with experiences that will help him/her to achieve their full potential.  I look forward to teaching not only academics but also compassion, community responsibility, and the importance of being a good friend.  I am anxious to see the pride in your child’s eyes when they learn: to read their first words, become great friends to the new children they meet, to be independent in so many ways, and to always, always, always try their best at everything they do.

    Thanks,

    Mrs. Kieffer
