Fourth Grade

  • Dear Fourth Grade Parents/Guardians,

I am one of two full-time school counselors at Union Grove Elementary School.  The mission of the Union Grove Elementary School Counseling Program is to inspire students through motivation while brightening their everyday lives and supporting them through their many challenges, so that they may achieve their personal-social, educational and career goals. I do this by providing classroom activities, small groups and individual counseling for kindergarten through 4th grade students.  Fourth graders also have the option of signing up for 4th Grade Lunch Club which is held one to two times a month.

I visit Fourth Grade classes once a month throughout the school year with activities and discussions about our school-wide initiative, making good CHOICEs to Care, Help, Own, Include, Cooperate and Excel at UGES, as well as being a “bucket-filler.”  During the school year, Mrs. Brede and I team up in the computer lab to present an e-learning program about bullying.

Feel free to contact me anytime with questions or if you have a concern about your child.  You can reach me at 878-2015 ext. 2006 between 7:30 and 3:00.  If I am not available, please leave me a voice mail message or an email and I will contact you as soon as possible.

    Sincerely,

    Patti Mork
